Project Coordinator/Administration – Te Aupouri Group
The main purpose of this position is to provide professional services in the planning, implementation, and completion of one-off projects for the Runanga and the Iwi Development Trust. This position will coach, mentor and train less experienced staff to assist in the responsibilities which will include locating, applying for and reporting on outsourced funding to financially assist in the successful and timely completion and reporting of outcomes on projects and other Runanga initiatives. This position will also provide administrative and other assistance as may be required from time to time for Runanga events and day to day business of Te Aupouri Group.
12 months (Fixed Term Contract initially, the potential to become permanent)
Qualification and experience
Preferably a diploma or equivalent in Administration/Business/Project/Management
A minimum of 2 years work experience in a senior administrative and/or project position
Sound working knowledge of office processes and systems more especially filing systems, policies & procedures.
A minimum of 5 years work experience in an administrative environment
Key skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
System orientated
Excellent time management skills
Competent report writing skills
An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
An understanding of Te Aupouri tikanga
A basic understanding of te reo Maori
